Catch flights not feelings [ ROME EDITION]

Wassupppp...... Hopefully you've taken a look at the video above of my time in Rome. My best friend and i decided to take a quick 4 day trip to Rome, Italy. One of the best trips we've done yet, this wasn't a vacation to get rest, we came with a plan to get sh*t done. Unfortunately we wasn't able to make it to the Colosseum but got to tick off the Vatican, St.Peters Basilica and the Trevi Fountain. We flew into Rome late on the first night, we dropped off our bags, grabbed a bite to eat then set off on some exploring. Thats the sick thing about cities like Rome, London and New York to name a few, those cities never sleep...always something to do it any time.

We were in Rome in July, the weather was amazing, around 35 degrees with hardly any breeze. Cant complain, thats what you go on vacation for, to leave the grey clouds and get in the sun, eat some good food and vibe over some wine.

......If i see a dog, all motives are postponed until i pet.....

The easiest way to get around Rome is by the underground system or even the train, real cheap swell. Might cost you a few euros and save you roughly an hour or so walking. Me and Shanice like to walk, especially since Rome is one of those places where you're just strolling and never know what you're going to bump into on the next street. Im the type of dude, along as i see the main things i came to see, I'm easy and down for whatever. Just go with the vibe, not everything has to be scripted. You're in a foreign country, just go with it. Theres no way you can see absolutely EVERYTHING anyway, so i advise having 3-5 things that you want to see or experience in your time, get those things done and then be easy going with the rest of your time. We didn't know about the Pentagon but we were walking, turned a corner and then there it was. One of the coolest buildings i have ever seen in my life. I could talk about the Vatican the entire post, that place was awesome.

Well worth the time walking inside. Honestly, you don't even realise how long you're in there, if your planning on going I advise going for a whole day, saves you rushing through it before they close. I'd say try and get a morning slot, it may be busy so i'd say get a queue jump (fast track ticket) and then you're in. The fast track ticket wasn't expensive, theres a lot of websites, you can get a ticket for around 25 euros if you don't want to wait around. It's up to you if you want to get a tour, we didn't get one because we didn't want to be rushed while in there and most of the tours are in english anyway, you're so close to everybody you end up getting the information for free. You can always download an audio guide to your phone and listen as you walk, kind of takes away from talking to strangers and sharing the experience but whatever works for you. The Sistine Chapel.....amazing!. You gotta experience it for yourself, ill leave it at that....never seen anything like it. Great trip, glad we got to tick off Rome on the #CatchFlightsNotFeelings tour !.... Many more to come!

Stay tuned!
